The New Britain Council of Catholic Women is pleased to offer two, $1,000 scholarships to either 8th graders planning to attend a Catholic High School or high school seniors planning to attend college.

The Council is only accepting digital applications and these can be obtained below or by emailing a request to  nbcouncilcatholicwomen@gmail.com or to [email protected].

The deadline for submission is May 5th.

The New Britain Council of Catholic Women’s membership is open to women from all Catholic Parishes in New Britain, Kensington, Berlin, and East Berlin.

• Prayer to Our Lady of Good Council   
• Yearly Rosary held at a member parish
• October Open Meeting    
• Yearly Mass for deceased members
• November Open Meeting

IN SERVICE: 

• Yearly scholarship awards to deserving Catholic graduating students from middle and high schools
• Fundraising for local, national, and international charities

 
IN ADVOCACY: 

• Advocating for rights of the poor
• Speaking for LIFE Participating in Catholic Days at the Capital

IN FELLOWSHIP AND HOSPITALITY:

• Meet the women of your council    
• Share social afternoons together
