The NBCCW would like to thank all parishioners who contributed to this year's fund drive for The Madonna Plan. A special thank you to the Saint Paul Ladies Guild whose generosity was simply amazing.  

This year the Council collected $275.00 – an amount that exceeded last year’s contribution.  If anyone still wishes to contribute to the Madonna Plan (a plan that helps women and children in third world countries), please put your donation in a envelope with Madonna Plan and attention Terry Zovich written on the outside and place in the collection baskets during mass. A sincere thank you to everyone.

THE NEW BRITAIN COUNCIL OF CATHOLIC WOMEN holds an annual Madonna Plan fund drive, just one of the programs that the Catholic Relief Services and the National Council of Catholic Women support. 

The Madonna Plan established in 1946, supports women and children in third world countries to ease the burden of struggles for a better life. They accomplish this by supporting mother-child centers, providing instruction on nutrition and hygiene projects, supplying funds for community-based businesses, and providing education and training for young women and girls.
