Help is needed after each of the weekend Masses on Nov. 30, Dec. 1, Dec. 7, Dec. 8, Dec. 14 and Dec. 15 to move the Angel Tree gift donations from the tree in the church to the storage closet in the church basement.
The donations then need to be sorted and placed on the appropriate shelf. A member of the Parish Social Action committee will be there to provide instruction. Meet them at the Angel Tree in the front of the church. With the exception of the final sort on Dec. 15, all other shifts count for 30 minutes.
There are two shifts the morning of Sunday, Dec. 15 from 8:30-11:00 and 11:00-2:00 p.m. You will move the gifts from the storage closet to the Church Hall and then help with sorting the gifts into groups for the various charity recicipients.
The Lighting takes place Sat., Dec. 7, immediately following the 4pm Mass. Help is needed from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
You will work as a team to fill the luminary bags with sand and lights. The bags will be arranged in alpha order in the Gym and then placed outside. After that, students will be assigned various tasks such as distributing programs, welcoming guests, serving cookies and hot chocolate and helping collect bags at the end.
Meet in the school gym at 3:00 p.m. to get instructions. If you have any questions, please contact Denise Nowakowski at: [email protected]
The event will occur "snow or shine". Please remember to dress warmly!

Eucharistic ministers Mark & Mary Jane Duplin, with their son Patrick, take communion and visit Ledgecrest residents weekly on Sunday mornings from 10-11 a.m. They can only take an additional TWO students with them on any given week. This would not be an ongoing, weekly commitment, but rather a one-time visit.
Please do not go to Ledgecrest until Mr. Duplin contacts you to confirm your date, especially if you sign up less than a week before the desired date.
If you have any questions, Mr. Duplin can be reached at: [email protected]
